Karin Brussaard - Olympus Visionary
I like to think of myself as a very versatile and passionate underwater photographer. I have been shooting underwater professionally for a very long time now and I have used Olympus products since the beginning of their digital photography and underwater equipment. I have got to know various products and love to shoot with my PEN as well as my OM-D. I just love to capture the nature we find under water but I am also committed to my work as an underwater fashion photpgrapher, which is much fun. And I share this joy with photography by hosting various workshops and excursions in my homecountry, the Netherlands and abroad - where I regularly publish and try to pass on my passion in our underwater community. I hope to inspire you with my enthusiasm and I am looking forward to showing you some of my underwater photography experiences!
Marcin Dobas - Olympus Visionary
I am a photographer working for National Geographic Poland. Every time I take pictures, I put a lot of effort into showing nature from different perspectives. Underwater photography gives me the opportunity to photograph the world that is inaccessible to most people. I am fascinated with the reef life but marine mammals are my favorite models. Being under water I love peace, the state of weightlessness and silence interrupted only by the sound of the exhaled air. The most fascinating fact about the wild animals is their interest in the presence of man. They come to him as close as possible and often encourage him to play.
See here some of the most important products to have in your bag when going diving with your photo equipment.
The MyOLYMPUS Academy gives you access to useful tutorials so you can get the most out of your underwater equipment. Learn how to set up your camera for underwater photography and how to reach all the relevant settings with ease.
