My wife and I are keen amateur naturalists and conservationists living in Staffordshire, England. I have been photographing wildlife since purchasing my first digital camera in 2003 and since 2012 I have also been making wildlife films. I've been lucky enough to have had my film projects screened at a number of film festivals, winning awards and nominations including winner of best documentary at BIAFF 2014 and nominated for a Panda Award alongside films from the BBC Natural History Unit and Discovery Channel at the prestigious Wildscreen Festival 2014. I switched to Olympus in 2017, once I became convinced that the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4.0 IS PRO lens and OM-D E-M1 Mark II combination finally provided a viable professional quality solution for shooting wildlife in an M43 package. Since acquiring the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12‑40mm 1:2.8 PRO I've also developed an interest in landscape photography. I love that I now have a system where I can pack everything I need in a backpack and spend a day in the field without it breaking my back!
