Eines der bekanntesten Galaxien Ansammlung im Frühlingssternbild Löwe ist die M66 Gruppe in 33-35 Mio. Lichtjahren Entfernung. Die großen Anziehungskräfte wirken hier stark aufeinander ein und erzeugen Gezeitenschweife und zerpflücken diese Galaxien. Auch Quasare in 10 Mrd. LJ sieht man.
