Another positive aspect of these ice-crystal shots is that you've used a kit lens which is fantastic. A lot of photographers don't use them, but they are very good and versatile. Anyway, if I don't catch you over next few days, have a very happy Christmas!....maybe Santa Claus will deliver us each an EM1 MKII?
Yes, the kit lense is perfect and I like that it is ver compact, too. In combination with the E-M10II you have a great solution to take pictures without bulky equipment. This year I bought the Olympus 45F1.8 which is a no-brainer in my opinion. For the future I'm thinking about a 17 mm or 25 mm prime lens. By the way, a good source for reviews is the blog of Robin Wong. An E-M1II with 12-40 mm zoom would be great, but I think at the moment it will stay a wish. Tell me if you got yours.
