I was exploring the great cellar of an abandoned palace when, turning a corner, appeared the immobile bicycle, under a feeble beam of light. It seemed asleep, absorbed in dreams of past rides. When I left the room, I took care to walk with silent footsteps, to not interrupt its rusty memories.
