Outdoor with Olympus - New freedom for nature photography
In nature photography, it is important to be able to react as flexibly as possible to changing conditions without having to compromise on the quality of the photos. Many situations are unique and cannot be repeated. The equipment must perform precisely as required. Compared to SLR technology, weight reduction is not the only important aspect, but the overall package of mobility, robustness, flexibility, speed, image quality and handling is the key.
Andreas Geh, entrepreneur, a passionate professional nature photographer, Olympus Visionary and a member of the GDT (Society of German Wildlife Photographers), has switched to Olympus 2.5 years ago, after 12 years of using professional SLR equipment.
With small stories and pictures from his recent trips to Greenland, Iceland, Botswana and his homeland, the southwest of Germany, he gives insights into his experience with Olympus. He shows with practical tips and tricks for ambitious photographers and those switching from other camera systems how he understands and experiences the new freedom in nature photography.
